They really are good!

Fast delivery. Just raced 80k time trial in 32 degree heat with these tubes with no issues. They’re so compact I easily carried 3 spares in my pockets. I like the no frills packaging too - it means you’re not wasting money on fancy stuff.

Great purchase

Really like the tubes. They are so much smaller than standard tubes that I can easily carry two where one barely fit. They are much lighter. I have yet to flat one, so that is good.

Fat Bike tubes are fantastic

I ordered the 26 x 3-4.5 inch TPU tubes for my Surly Bud/Lou tires on my 2014 Moonlander. Peter told me that they should work for inner width of 4.6 inches, which should be the case with 4.8 inch outside width Bud/Lou. All good. Holding air very well. Weight savings are substantial. Thanks for the great communication before I purchased. Yes, they are fine with 4.8 inch wide tires.

Haven't used it yet

The 5 star rating is for the purchase experience. I run tubeless on my fatty and this TPU tube saves a ton of weight over carrying a spare fat tube, or even a 29er tube which is what I carried. I'm confident it will work great should I ever need it. I'll probably buy another just so I can try it!

TPU Bike Tubes from Wheel Science

Amazing product. Work as claimed and is reliable. I have tested other brands with mixed success. These tubes always work so they are all I use on my road and gravel bikes. Simply the best option!!

Since making the switch to TPU tubes I find there to less worry while on the road. The increased puncture resistance over rubber tubes makes the small increase in cost an after thought. You also cannot discount the weight and space savings in your saddle bag, or if you prefer, jersey pocket. Some will ask me why I still run tubes and not switch to tubeless. The simple answer is I do not want to deal with the mess, and if I have to carry a tube as a back up then what's the point.

Goodbye butyl, hello performance

Beyond impressed with these inner tubes. Installation was much easier than I expected and what the instructions indicated. They were easier than butyl to install with "race day" tires, and with a little care, almost as easy with more rugged tire options. They will definitely change the ride feel of your bike: butyl dampens road noise and detail, whereas these TPU tubes do not: the road feels "crisper" on the same bike. Pavement details are more evident--a bonus if you want that kind of feedback, but some might find it annoying with the really lightweight tires and stiffer frames.
